Ήθελε να γράψει ιστορία και να αφυπνίσει τον κόσμο. Ήθελε να ακουστεί η Ελλάδα και η Κρήτη στα πέρατα της γης! Ο Γιώργος Σταθάκης μετανάστης τη δεκαετία του ’30, εργαζόταν ως μάγειρας στο Μπάφαλο της Νέας Υόρκης. Του σφηνώθηκε η ιδέα να πέσει στον Νιαγάρα ταμπουρωμένος μέσα σε ένα βαρέλι. Προσπάθησε να πετύχει το ακατόρθωτο… Μια βίδα έπαιξε όμως άσχημο παιχνίδι με τη μοίρα του… Δεν τα κατάφερε. Έμεινε όμως στην ιστορία… Αυτή την ιστορία σας παρουσιάζει σήμερα στην εκπομπή ΩΡΑ ΕΛΛΑΔΑΣ, o Νικόλας Αγγελίδης. Σαν σήμερα πριν 94 χρόνια… Ο Έλληνας που πίστεψε σε ένα θαύμα!
