Ο Σταύρος Κίτσιος από την Πρέβεζα είναι ο πρώτος λοστρόμος που φιλοξενείται στις «ΚΑΛΕΣ ΘΑΛΑΣΣΕΣ». Μοιράζεται τα συναισθήματα του, διηγείται απίθανες ιστορίες και συμβουλεύει τους νέους μετά από 43 χρόνια θαλάσσιας υπηρεσίας. Πρωτομπαρκάρισε στα 15 του χρόνια με την υπογραφή του πατέρα του. Δεν μπορούσε την αγροτική ζωή και από τα χωράφια και τους αγρούς βρέθηκε στη θάλασσα και στο Χιούστον σε ένα δεξαμενόπλοιο.
