Scent of Smyrne
The album “Aroma Smyrne”, released in 2004, is a truly exhaustive collection of songs from Asia Minor. Its sound is shaped by leading soloists like Giorgos Koros, Nikos Saragoudas and Manolis Pappos and the songs are performed by top folk and traditional performers, such as Glykeria, Agathonas, Sofia Papazoglou, Babis Tsertos, Giorgos Tzortzis and Hara Pomoni. As for these timeless songs, they do precisely what the title promises: they convey the scent, the aroma of an entire geographical region and historical era.

«Άρωμα Σμύρνης» τιτλοφορείται ο δισκογραφική συλλογή που κυκλοφόρησε η «Protasis» το 2004. Αποτελώντας μια από τις πληρέστερες συλλογές της ελληνικής δισκογραφίας στο είδος, περιλαμβάνει 60 γνωστά σμυρναίικα τραγούδια, ερμηνευμένα από αξιόλογες φωνές και εξαίρετους μουσικούς. Και κάνει ακριβώς αυτό που υπόσχεται ο τίτλος: μεταφέρει το άρωμα μιας ολόκληρης περιοχής και ιστορικής περιόδου.
