Η Γιώτα Ιωαννίδου, πτυχιούχος της Φιλοσοφικής του ΑΠΘ, μιλά για το πρώτο της μυθιστόρημα, το “Σοχούμ”, όπου ξετυλίγεται η ζωή της οικογένειάς της, που έζησε τον ξεριζωμό, στις αρχές του 20ου αιώνα, από το Σοχούμ (την πρωτεύουσα της Αμπχαζίας) στον Πειραιά, στη συνέχεια στη Δράμα και τελικό προορισμό την Πιερία. Η αγάπη και ο έρωτας λειτουργούν σαν καταλύτες στην αντιμετώπιση των δυσκολιών και η μουσική και τα τραγούδια του Πόντου απαλύνουν την πίκρα.
