Ο Γαβριήλ Συντομόρου, φιλόλογος καθηγητής και συγγραφέας, μιλά για τη σημαντική νίκη του ελληνικού στρατού στη μάχη (9 Οκτωβρίου 1912) του Σαραντάπορου, που προηγήθηκε της απελευθέρωσης (26 Οκτωβρίου 1912) της Θεσσαλονίκης, και για τα όσα συνέβησαν στη Θεσσαλονίκη κατά τον Πρώτο Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο. Τα βιβλία του «Σαραντάπορο, Κιλκίς, Λαχανάς: οι πρώτες μας νίκες» και «Η Θεσσαλονίκη στον Α΄ Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο» στάθηκαν η αφορμή για τη συνομιλία αυτή.
