Κωνσταντίνος Παρθένης

Ένας πραγματικός κοσμοπολίτης, ένας αριστοκράτης ζωγράφος, εκ των κορυφαίων των δύο τελευταίων αιώνων του νεότερου ελληνικού κράτους, που κατάφερε να συγκεράσει τη μορφολογική αντίληψη της μοντέρνας δυτικής αισθητικής με την νεοελληνική αντίληψη της ζωγραφικής.

Ο Κωνσταντίνος Παρθένης, πέθανε στις 25 Ιουλίου του 1967.
