Χοσέ Μαρτί

Με τα άρθρα του, το τουφέκι του μα πάνω απ’ όλα με την ποίηση του ηγήθηκε της επανάστασης των συμπατριωτών του ενάντια στην ισπανική αποικιοκρατία. Χρόνια μετά, η ζωή και το έργο του θα αποτελέσουν τη σημαία των ηρωικών Barbudos του Φιντέλ Κάστρο στην μεγάλη κουβανική επανάσταση. Ο θρυλικος Χοσέ Μαρτί, έπεσε στο πεδίο της μάχης του Dos Rios σαν σήμερα, 19 Μαΐου 1895.
