Η Όπερα του ζητιάνου

Στις 29 Ιανουαρίου του 1728, ο John Gay και ο Johann Christoph Pepusch ανεβάζουν στο Λονδίνο την πρώτη Βallad Οpera της Ιστορίας, την θρυλική “Όπερα του Ζητιάνου”. Και από εκεί, από το τότε σύγχρονο jukebox της τέχνης, θα στείλουν το δικό τους μήνυμα απέναντι στην κοινωνική αδικία. τον καπιταλισμό που έρχεται από το βάθος του ορίζοντα και την διεφθαρμένη πολιτική σκηνή.
