Ο ντράμερ της μπάντας, ο John Bonham, είχε βρεθεί νεκρός τρεις μήνες νωρίτερα. Στις 4 Δεκεμβρίου του 1980, μια ανακοίνωση θα έδειχνε πως τα πραγματικά συγκροτήματα χτίζονται από αγάπη και μόνο από αγάπη:
