Σάμιουελ Χάου

Ο ντελικάτος γιατρός από τη Βοστώνη, Σάμιουελ Χάου, μπήκε σε όλες τις επαναστατικές φωτιές της εποχής του. Από την Ελλάδα του 1825 έως τη Γαλλία της Ιουλιανής Επανάστασης και από εκεί στην Πολωνία που πάσχιζε να γλιτώσει από τον ζυγό Ρώσων και Πρώσων. Ήθελε απλώς να δώσει φως. Όπως έκανε και με τους ασθενείς του. Πέθανε στις 9 Γενάρη του 1876 στο Κεμπριτζ της Μασαχουσέτης.
