Τα πρώτα καλλιστεία

Μπήκε στον γυναικωνίτη για να πλέξει, στάλθηκε στο χωράφι, της φόρεσαν ζώνη αγνότητας και, μεταξύ άλλων, την ανέβασαν σε μια πασαρέλα για εκλέξουν την πιο όμορφη. Η ομορφιά ήταν από παλαιότερα επίκεντρο μαχών και πολέμων αλλά ως επίσημος παγκόσμιος διαγωνισμός γεννιέται στις 19 Σεπτέμβρη του 1888, στην πόλη Spa του Βελγίου. Εκεί μια κρεολή θα γίνει πρωτοσέλιδο. Και ο πόλεμος συνεχίστηκε…
