Περί το τέλος του Σεπτεμβρίου θα γίνει γνωστή η ημερομηνία διεξαγωγής του πρώτου μαραθωνίου πόλης στη Θεσσαλονίκη από τον Δήμο και το Ολυμπιακό Μουσείο όπως δήλωσε στην “Αίθουσα Σύνταξης” του 102FM της ΕΡΤ3 η διευθύντρια του Ολυμπιακού Μουσείου Κική Ουδατζή. Η συγκεκριμένη διοργάνωση εντάσσεται στην προσπάθεια για τουριστική προβολή της Θεσσαλονίκης μέσω ενός αθλητικού γεγονότος καθώς η διαδρομή θα περνάει μπροστά από χαρακτηριστικά σημεία της πόλης.
