Υπάρχουν σενάρια για κινηματογραφικές ταινίες και σειρές με φόντο την ίδια την Θεσσαλονίκη, αποκάλυψε στην “Αίθουσα Σύνταξης” του 102FM της ΕΡΤ3 ο τομεάρχης Τουρισμού της Περιφέρειας Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας  Αλέξανδρος Θάνος. Ο ίδιος ανακοίνωσε τη δημιουργία μητρώου συντελεστών κινηματογραφικών και τηλεοπτικών παραγωγών από την Περιφέρεια Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας, το οποίο θα τίθεται υπόψη των παραγωγών που θα αποφασίσουν να κάνουν γυρίσματα στην περιοχή.
