Είκοσι ομάδες εθελοντών, μαζί με πυροσβέστες φυλούν σε 24ωρη βάση το δάσος του Σέιχ Σου προκειμένου να προλάβουν έγκαιρα κάποια πυρκαγιά σημείωσε μιλώντας στην “Αίθουσα Σύνταξης” του 102 FM της ΕΡΤ 3 ο προϊστάμενος της υπηρεσίας Πολιτικής Προστασίας της Περιφέρειας Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας Χαράλαμπος Στεργιάδης. Όπως είπε, η προετοιμασία για την αντιμετώπιση των καλοκαιρινών φαινομένων έγινε εγκαίρως, ενώ σημείωσε ότι την τελευταία δεκαετία τα ζητήματα της Πολιτικής Προστασίας έχουν εξελιχθεί γι’ αυτό και υπάρχουν καλά αποτελέσματα.
