Την πρωτοβουλία του δήμου Θεσσαλονίκης για τη συνεργασία όλων των βιβλιοθηκών της Μακεδονίας, ώστε τη φετινή χρονιά που γιορτάζουμε τα 200 χρόνια από την Επανάσταση του 1821, να αναδειχθούν τα γεγονότα και οι πρωταγωνιστές της εποχής στη Μακεδονία εξήγησε μιλώντας στην “Αίθουσα Σύνταξης” του 102 FM της ΕΡΤ3 η αντιδήμαρχος Διαδημοτικής Συνεργασίας και Απόδημου Ελληνισμού  Στεφανία Τανιμανίδου, η οποία χαρακτήρισε τη συγκυρία «μοναδική ευκαιρία» να προβληθούν δράσεις που παραμένουν έως σήμερα υποφωτισμένες.
