Την πεποίθηση της ότι με την παρούσα κατάσταση της πανδημίας στη Θεσσαλονίκη, την πορεία των μεταλλαγμένων στελεχών του κορωνοϊού, αλλά και την επερχόμενη από το Σαββατοκύριακο κακοκαιρία καλό θα ήταν να κλείσουν τα σχολεία εξέφρασε μέσω της εκπομπής “Αίθουσα Σύνταξης” του 102FM της ΕΡΤ3 η αναπληρώτρια καθηγήτρια Μικροβιολογίας του ΑΠΘ Γεωργία Γκιούλα. Όπως είπε, ο χειμώνας αρέσει πολύ στους ιούς, αφού το κρύο τους συντηρεί, ενώ ταυτόχρονα η παραμονή των ανθρώπων σε κλειστούς χώρους δημιουργεί συγχρωτισμό που ευνοεί τη μετάδοση.
