Για την απόφαση να γίνονται μετρήσεις για τον κορωνοϊό στα λύματα της Θεσσαλονίκης σε καθημερινή βάση από την προσεχή εβδομάδα ενημέρωσε μέσω της εκπομπής “Αίθουσα Σύνταξης” 102 FM της ΕΡΤ3 ο καθηγητής Χημείας και μέλος της διεπιστημονικής ομάδας μετρήσεων του ΑΠΘ Θεόδωρος Καραπάντσιος. Ο ίδιος σημείωσε ότι αυτή τη στιγμή η εικόνα στα λύματα της Θεσσαλονίκης είναι ανησυχητική, ανάλογη με αυτήν στα μέσα του περασμένου Οκτωβρίου και επισήμανε ότι αυτή τη φορά θα πρέπει να ληφθούν εγκαίρως νέα μέτρα, ώστε να μην φτάσουμε στα ακραία σημεία του περασμένου Νοεμβρίου.
