Εννέα τμήματα σε οκτώ δημοτικά σχολεία της Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας και συγκεκριμένα στη Δυτική Θεσσαλονίκη, την Πιερία, την Ημαθία, τη Χαλκιδική και το Κιλκίς είναι σήμερα κλειστά λόγω της πανδημίας του κορωνοϊού αποκάλυψε στην “Αίθουσα Σύνταξης” του 102 FM της ΕΡΤ3   ο διευθυντής Περιφερειακής Διεύθυνσης Πρωτοβάθμιας και Δευτεροβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας, Αλέξανδρος Κόπτσης. Όπως είπε, οι χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες της σημερινής ημέρας έχουν οδηγήσει σε κλείσιμο τα σχολεία σε κάποιους δήμους, ενώ διαβεβαίωσε ότι υπάρχει ετοιμότητα για την επαναλειτουργία γυμνασίων και λυκείων ακόμη και σε μία ημέρα.
