Θετικά αποτιμάται η λειτουργία των Τοπικών Μονάδων Υγείας στη δυτική Θεσσαλονίκη όπου στο επόμενο διάστημα θα εγκαινιαστούν άλλες τρεις, ενώ την επόμενη εβδομάδα θα λειτουργήσει η πρώτη εκτός Θεσσαλονίκης, στην Κατερίνη. Τα αποτελέσματα είναι ενθαρρυντικά επισήμανε ο διοικητής της 3ης ΥΠΕ Μακεδονίας, Γιώργος Κίρκος, μιλώντας στον 102FM του Ρ.Σ.Μ. της ΕΡΤ3 και αναφέρθηκε στη στελέχωση των Τοπικών Μονάδων Υγείας, οι οποίες αποτελούν, όπως είπε, δομές εισόδου στο ΕΣΥ.
